Look there’s no need to go all schmaltzy for Valentine’s day. It is quite possible to let your loved one know they’re still your top pick without pastel colours and cutesy rhymes… unless that’s your thing of course, in which case … knock yourself out.
OK, so for Christmas I gave my hubby one of those lovely beachy timber photo frames, filled with snaps of our vibrant smiley little monkeys on a sun soaked holiday last year. I can say with some clarity that the point of purchase was the moment my new coastal-living-obsession began.
There’s been an awful lot of summer dreaming going on at our place. I frequently kick myself for totally missing the boat when we first moved here from the UK. I would consider losing an arm for a house at the beach, although I suspect kite flying might never be the same again. Read more »
