Winter woollies are here…

There’s certainly a nip in the air now we have dark mornings and dark evenings to contend with. Once that sun drops down behind the tree line, there is definitely a need to stay cosy on the sideline of the soccer pitch. With three lots of training to pack into every week, I am just loving my cosy poncho and have received many admiring comments from shivering Mummies waiting for their little footy players to finish before racing home to whip up something warm and hearty for dinner. (I’m secretly delighted to haul my slow cooker out for these occasions, feeling like a most superior Super Mum* knowing that dinner is ready and waiting when we walk in the door.)

Pitchside cosiness

The fab new Hoody Scarf is proving very popular for the same reason, so if you notice swarms of cosy, stylish Mums wafting about the place…. well, it is probably all down to me! No need to point out that both of these items would be very well received by most mums I know come Mother’s day. Just putting it out there.

A great little option for Mothers day...

Now we mustn’t forget the little extras that have to come along to watch their brothers train… our new pom pom beanie is coming in very handy to keep the small people happy pitch side. That said, its working for the bigger kids too – the perfect hat to pull on after a day on the slopes this winter.

Available in red and taupe

I hauled out the kids’ electric blankets, and put on their fave cosy flanny sheets this week. So, I’m now enjoying a very happy team who are proving very easy to chase into bed come evening. Particularly when our super snuggly hot water bottle covers (Shawn and Mooranda) are waiting to welcome them into bed. Cuddly and soft with their teddy-like squishiness, and warm to boot. Heaven.

Mooranda. How could you not?

I couldn’t resist sharing a couple of  You Tube favourites with you this week. Check out this little chap, proficient in bike riding and motivational speaking. Thumbs up for Rock ‘n Roll! AND… check out these two doggies showing utmost decorum and restraint while dining in a busy restaurant. Make yourself a cuppa and take a few minutes out of your busy day to enjoy. Then show your kids and enjoy it all over again.

Keep cosy…
